Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has embarked on a significant three-day official visit to India, marking her first trip to the country. During this visit, she is set to engage in talks with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as part of the 16th India-Japan Annual Summit. The primary focus of the summit is to enhance the bilateral relationship between the two nations.
Throughout the summit, Takaichi and Modi are expected to delve into discussions on a range of subjects including trade, investment, defense, technology, and regional security. They will also evaluate the progress made under the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership, an initiative aimed at fostering closer ties between the two countries.
